If after a fifteen year hiatus, the local Lions Club reincarnates a big flea market, special events standards would have to be met by the group. Standards that, according to officials, are to be established through a revised borough ordinance.
Concerns from residents, as well as from business owners is the reason that the Chester borough council had ended up planning to handle the situation.
According to Councilman Valle Schlosser, this was so that the market’s return would also mean increased traffic in the town.
