The Section §66A -26 of the Henderson County ordinance concerning about the regulation of animals in flea markets is an excellent law and the commissioners of which are to be commended for its passage. Adopting pets like dogs, cats, rabbits etc. is a long term commitment and shouldn't an impulse decision. Animals that were bought at flee market are just relinquished later when the one who bought it changes their minds. The government will save more taxpayers money for sheltering and disposing dead bodies of these animals through this law. The Flea market on 4 Mile Line has a very exceptional story behind it. It was set up with the intention of giving immigrants a place to sell goods. I think that is a great thing.A new ordinance in the city may cause the flea market to have to raise prices for renting stalls. They may have to make extensive updates to stalls if building codes are not up to date. I think that the city should just try to limit what they do while still ensuring a safe environment for citizens.
